Mr. Jacalone relocated to New York City from Florida in 1997 after enrolling in Christies New York Art Course. The graduate level program teaches connoisseurship, the art market and collections history of fine art. During the duration of the course Mr. Jacalone interned in the European Furniture Department at Christies as well.

Upon completion of his dissertation on Italian Art and successfully graduating the program he opened Jerome Jacalone Antiques on Manhattan’s upper east side dealing in 18th century European furniture and works of art.

In 2008 the gallery relocated to its Beekman Place location and transitioned into dealing specifically in European Paintings from the 16th through the 19th century with an emphasis on Italian works.

When not involved in the acquisition or sale of great works of art Mr. Jacalone can be found competing in historic sportscar racing at events located all along the east coast of the U.S.

The gallery is located at 433 East 51st Street at Beekman Place and hours are by appointment.
